WavePoint Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2025  |  Internal Use Only

1. About WavePoint

WavePoint is an internal operations platform used by staff of TSU Car Wash to manage location data, work orders, weather alerts, membership performance, and other operational metrics across our network of car wash locations.

Access to this platform is granted exclusively to current employees and contractors as authorized by company administrators. This is not a public-facing service.

2. Who Uses This System

WavePoint is available only to employees who have been invited by a company administrator. Registration is not open to the public. All accounts must be approved before access is granted.

Your account, activity, and associated data may be reviewed by administrators for operational, security, and compliance purposes.

3. SMS Alert Program

As part of your role, WavePoint may send you operational SMS text messages to the mobile number on file with your account. These messages include:

  • Code Blue Alerts — emergency notifications when a location goes offline or experiences a critical failure requiring immediate attention
  • Severe Weather Warnings — alerts for tornado warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, flash flood warnings, or other dangerous NWS-issued weather events affecting locations in your area of responsibility

Message frequency varies based on operational events. Messages are sent only when a qualifying emergency or weather event is detected — not on a scheduled basis.

Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan. WavePoint does not charge for SMS messages.

4. How Consent Is Collected

When a new employee accepts their invitation to create a WavePoint account, they are presented with a clear disclosure explaining the SMS alert program. The employee must actively check a consent checkbox to proceed with account creation. Accounts cannot be created without this consent step.

The date and time of consent is recorded and stored with the user's account record. This documentation is available for compliance review upon request.

5. How to Opt Out

Employees can opt out of SMS alerts at any time using one of these methods:

  • In-app: Visit your Account page (top navigation → Account) and use the "SMS Alert Preferences" section to pause alerts.
  • By text: Reply STOP to any message you receive. Standard opt-out keywords (STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) are always active and handled automatically by our messaging provider.

Opting out removes you from all future SMS sends. You can resume at any time from your Account page. Opting out does not affect your access to WavePoint or your employment status.

6. Recordkeeping

Consent records are stored within the WavePoint database associated with each user account, including the timestamp of consent and any subsequent opt-out actions. These records are retrievable by account ID or hire date upon request.

When an employee's account is deactivated (e.g., upon termination), their consent record is retained for compliance documentation but no further SMS messages are sent to that user.

7. Contact

Questions about these terms, your account, or SMS preferences can be directed to your company administrator. For technical issues, contact the WavePoint administrator through the platform's internal channels.
